Asl\u0131nda dikkat \u00e7ekilen konular y\u0131lda bir hafta ele al\u0131n\u0131p tamamlanan bir olgu de\u011fildir. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde insanlar bilgiye ne zaman ve nerede ihtiya\u00e7 duyarlarsa, orada almak istiyorlar. Teknolojinin ve internetin bilgi hizmetlerine getirdi\u011fi yeni olanaklar ile birlikte d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcme u\u011frayan k\u00fct\u00fcphaneler, klasik k\u00fct\u00fcphane hizmetlerinin \u00f6tesinde i\u015flevler \u00fcstlenerek, okuyucular\u0131 i\u00e7in ev ve i\u015f yerinden sonra, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc mekan durumuna geldi.<\/p>\n<p>E\u011e\u0130T\u0130ML\u0130 \u0130NSAN G\u00dcC\u00dc<br \/>\nBilgi, insan ya\u015fam\u0131n\u0131n en \u00f6nemli \u00f6gelerinden biridir. Toplumlar bilgili olduklar\u0131 s\u00fcrece kendilerini geli\u015ftirebilirler. G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde bilgi g\u00fc\u00e7t\u00fcr. Bilgi, ekonomik bir de\u011fer ta\u015f\u0131makta ve para ile al\u0131n\u0131p sat\u0131labilmektedir. Bilgi, toplumlar\u0131n geli\u015fmi\u015flik d\u00fczeyi ile e\u015fde\u011fer bir konumda ele al\u0131nmaktad\u0131r. Toplumlar bilgili ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrl\u00fc olduklar\u0131 ve e\u011fitime gereken \u00f6nemi verdikleri \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcde kendilerini ba\u015fkalar\u0131na kabul ettirebilirler. E\u011fitimli bir insan, okuyan, kendini yeti\u015ftiren, ara\u015ft\u0131ran, bilime katk\u0131 sa\u011flayan ve b\u00f6ylece ait oldu\u011fu toplumun y\u00fckselmesine, refah d\u00fczeyinin artmas\u0131nda etken olan insand\u0131r. E\u011fitimli insan g\u00fcc\u00fc ise e\u011fitim kurumlar\u0131n\u0131n ve bunlar\u0131n ayr\u0131lmaz bir par\u00e7as\u0131 olan k\u00fct\u00fcphanelerin, yani bilgi merkezlerinin i\u015flevsel kullan\u0131lmas\u0131 ile m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olacakt\u0131r.<\/p>\n<p>Bilgi evrenseldir ve payla\u015ft\u0131k\u00e7a artar. Bilginin kimsenin tekelinde olmamas\u0131 gerekir. \u0130steyen herkesin bilgi edinme hakk\u0131 ve \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc vard\u0131r. B\u00fcy\u00fck bir h\u0131zla \u00e7o\u011falan bu bilgilere bireysel olarak herkes taraf\u0131ndan ula\u015f\u0131labilmesinin zaman, para ve kaynaklar a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ortadad\u0131r. Bu g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ortadan kald\u0131ran ve bilgiyi isteyen herkesin hizmetine sunarak bilgi edinme hakk\u0131 ve \u00f6zg\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc sa\u011flayan kurumlar ise bilgi merkezleridir.<\/p>\n<p>K\u00dcT\u00dcPHANEC\u0130LER\u0130N ROL\u00dc<br \/>\nYukar\u0131da say\u0131lan \u00f6zelliklere sahip bir varl\u0131\u011fa, yani insana hizmet eden k\u00fct\u00fcphaneciler, bu insanlar\u0131n ya\u015fam boyu e\u011fitimlerinde \u00f6nemli bir rol oynamaktad\u0131r. Okullarda verilen e\u011fitim belirli bir s\u00fcrece ba\u011fl\u0131d\u0131r ve bu s\u00fcre\u00e7 k\u00fct\u00fcphanelerle desteklenmedik\u00e7e yal\u0131n kalacakt\u0131r. Bunun yan\u0131nda k\u00fct\u00fcphanelerde \u00f6zellikle de halk k\u00fct\u00fcphanelerinde verilen hizmetler ya\u015fam boyu e\u011fitimin en \u00f6nemli par\u00e7as\u0131d\u0131r.
